Renunciation, search and a constant questioning about his own roots marked the origin of the artistic personality of Juan Downey (1940-1993), a pioneer in the use of video at the service of art. This documentary film offers an encounter with his life and work through the narrations of his closest collaborators and the artist himself, to rescue that young man from the well-off Chilean aristocracy from the ‘60s, who decided to look for new forms of expression beyond his walls.
